Community And Family Aid Foundation – Ghana

Community and Family Aid Foundation (CAFAF) is a Ghanaian National Non-Governmental Organization dedicated to the well-being and empowerment of vulnerable populations, including women, youth, the aged, and marginalized community members. CAFAF operates on a human-rights-based approach to tackle poverty, promote health, and secure fundamental rights. In alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, our grassroots work heavily involves community education, advocacy, and direct engagement to ensure that all individuals—especially marginalized and undocumented groups—receive legal recognition, civic education, and access to basic human services.

Regarding statelessness, CAFAF is committed to advocating for universal birth registration, securing legal documentation for at-risk and migrant populations, and collaborating with local authorities to uphold the right to a nationality, aligning our grassroots efforts with the UN Sustainable Development Goals
