LekhanKala.org is a vibrant, independent nonprofit in Nepal dedicated to inspiring children, youth, educators, and parents.

Through creative writing, storytelling, school journalism, media literacy, digital citizenship, and leadership programs, we spark lifelong learning and empower voices to shine.

Partnering with schools and communities, we create lively writing clubs, lead engaging workshops, boost literacy, and champion inclusive, child-centered learning environments.

While statelessness is not our primary area of work, our mission strongly supports the principles of inclusion, equality, and every child’s right to access education, participate in society, and have their voice heard.

By weaving together storytelling, human rights education, community awareness, and youth engagement, we nurture respect for diversity and champion equal opportunities for marginalized children, especially those facing exclusion due to their legal status or nationality.

Global Alliance to End Statelessness, we hope to learn from the expertise of governments, UN agencies, civil society organizations, and fellow members while contributing our own experience in youth engagement and educational innovation.

We are especially eager to develop creative awareness campaigns, educational resources, and youth-led storytelling initiatives that amplify the voices of marginalized communities and champion the right to nationality as a fundamental human right.
