SAFEBRIDGE COMMUNITY RESILIENCE FOUNDATION (SCRF)

SafeBridge Community Resilience Foundation (SCRF) is a legally registered non‑profit organization with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in Nigeria. While newly established and at the early stage of operational rollout, SCRF has developed a comprehensive Strategic Plan 2026–2030 that positions the organization to address critical humanitarian challenges in Nigeria and West Africa.

SCRF’s mission is to advance human rights, migration protection, inclusive education, and community resilience.
Our strategic pillars include:

Migration Rights & Protection (Section 5.6): Safeguarding displaced persons and vulnerable populations, reducing risks of exclusion.

Human Rights & Advocacy (Section 5.4): Promoting accountability and justice for marginalized groups.

Climate Change & Sustainability (Section 5.1): Addressing climate‑induced displacement and resilience.

Legal Identity for All (SDG 16.9): Ensuring documentation and citizenship recognition through partnerships with the National Population Commission (NPC) and National Identity Management Commission (NIMC).

Work on Statelessness (Planned)
Although SCRF is at the inception stage, our flagship initiative — the Safebridge Almajiri Resilience and Education Initiative (SAREI) embeds legal identity documentation into education and livelihoods programming. This will ensure that vulnerable children and adults obtain birth certificates, indigene certificates, and National Identity Numbers (NIN), thereby reducing risks of statelessness and exclusion from social services.

By joining the Global Alliance to End Statelessness, SCRF seeks to:

Contribute Nigeria‑specific insights on displacement, undocumented populations, and exclusionary practices.

Collaborate with Alliance members to strengthen community‑driven, faith‑sensitive approaches to ending statelessness.

Amplify the voices of vulnerable groups in Nigeria and West Africa within global policy dialogues.

SCRF endorses the Alliance’s vision of a world where everyone has a nationality and access to rights, and is committed to aligning its operational rollout with this global mission.

As Founder and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, I bring over a decade of multidisciplinary expertise in border governance, migration management, humanitarian support, and risk analysis. My professional background as a Deputy Superintendent of Immigration, combined with specialized training in international migration law, refugee protection, Statelessness, Human Exploitation, Trafficking & Smuggling, Forced Labour and climate‑related displacement, strengthens SCRF’s capacity to contribute meaningfully to global efforts against statelessness.
