Des millions de personnes sont touchées à travers le monde, ce qui a de graves conséquences sur leur capacité à jouir des droits les plus fondamentaux. Pourtant, l'apatridie est une situation qui peut être résolue… définitivement, pour tous. Mais le changement n'est tout simplement pas assez rapide.
C’est pourquoi nous vous invitons à nous rejoindre, nous, un groupe diversifié d’acteurs clés : l’Alliance mondiale pour mettre fin à l’apatridie. Ensemble, nous pouvons catalyser et accélérer le changement. Car chacun mérite de jouir du droit à une nationalité sans discrimination.
Inscrivez-vous dès maintenant ! Le lancement officiel de l'Alliance mondiale a eu lieu le 14 octobre 2024 à Genève, lors du segment de haut niveau sur l'apatridie, le premier jour de la réunion du Comité exécutif du HCR.

As we mark the second anniversary of the Alliance mondiale pour mettre fin à l'apatridie, we celebrate this milestone by reflecting on our progress and looking ahead with renewed determination. When the Alliance was launched, United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres captured the profound human stakes of our mission with a powerful core vision: “No matter who or where they are, every person belongs.” For millions of people, statelessness remains a barrier to rights, services and dignity. Ending it requires collective action across governments, international organizations, civil society, affected communities and other partners.

The Global Alliance Thematic Working Group on Ending Childhood Statelessness is pleased to announce an upcoming Knowledge Webinar titled “Every Child’s Right to a Nationality: Preventing Childhood Statelessness in Asia and the Pacific.”
The session will examine child-centred solutions and key legal achievements aimed at ending childhood statelessness across the region. Participants will gain insights into Thailand’s recent policy updates, ground-breaking legal developments in Central Asia, and comparative research on international legal protections. Additionally, the event will mark the official launch of the 3rd edition of the Statelessness Encyclopedia Asia Pacific.
