The UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) hosts the Global Alliance Secretariat, which is led by a UNHCR staff member in the Division of International Protection and Solutions, serving as the Secretariat Coordinator.

The Coordinator provides overall leadership and oversight of the Alliance’s activities and initiatives, develops the annual work plan, manages the Secretariat’s day-to-day operations, coordinates member engagement, and reports on the Alliance’s activities and progress.
