Legal Advocacy Walk Foundation (LAW Foundation) is dedicated to ending statelessness in Thailand by securing legal identity and full rights for all individuals. By fostering local leadership and encouraging collaborative solutions, LAW Foundation promotes lasting inclusion and legal recognition for stateless people.
Central to its approach is grassroots training—LAW equips local volunteers from marginalized communities like the Thai Ya, Lahu, Lisu, and Akha to educate stateless individuals about their rights and offer personalized support in obtaining legal status. These trained volunteers guide individuals through complex processes such as acquiring ID documents and applying for citizenship.
Moreover, LAW Foundation serves as a vital bridge by partnering with government officials, civil society, and community networks to overcome challenges and enhance access to justice and essential services. Through these efforts, LAW is building sustainable pathways to citizenship, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to live with dignity and legal recognition.
