Arab Institute for Human Rights

Founded in 1989, the Arab Institute for Human Rights (IADH) is a leading organisation dedicated to the promotion of human rights in Tunisia and the Arab region. With decades of commitment, IADH has earned international recognition for its pioneering role in human rights education, notably receiving the prestigious UNESCO Prize for Human Rights Education. IADH’s work extends to addressing critical issues such as statelessness, where it has collaborated with UNHCR and other international bodies to provide legal assistance and training for diverse groups, including journalists, judicial actors, and government officials. Through strategic partnerships, IADH continues to strengthen the protection of stateless and displaced individuals, working to establish legal frameworks and enhance governance in migration. Despite challenges, IADH remains a vital force for promoting justice, human rights, and inclusion for vulnerable communities in Tunisia and the region.
