Northern Arabia’s Surviving Indigeneity (NASI)

Abdulwahab Abdullah
Northern Arabia’s Surviving Indigeneity (NASI) is a UK-based, impacted-person-led organisation founded in 2024 by members of the stateless Northern Bedouin (Bidoon) community of Kuwait.
NASI works to challenge statelessness and the denial of nationality rights through human rights advocacy, legal support, education, and international engagement. It raises awareness of the Bidoon crisis, documents human rights violations, and engages with UN mechanisms, UK policymakers, and European civil society.
NASI also supports displaced Bidoons in the UK, focusing on women and children who have had their citizenship revoked. It provides legal guidance, policy advocacy, and community-based support.
Although not yet formally registered, NASI is in the process of becoming a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) in the UK.
